Will my images be put online?

No, unless you give me permission. My number one priority is making sure my clients are comfortable, especially with boudoir. It can be a life changing experience, and I treat it as YOUR experience, not mine. During these intimate session you maybe learning how to love your body and you aren’t quite ready to share the images with the world, or sometimes these photos are specifically for your spouse aren’t for anyone else’s eyes. These are all great reasons for not sharing your photos, and it’s totally up to you if you want to share them. If there are photos that I would like to share, I will ask your permission first, and only share what you are comfortable with!

Not at all! My sessions are specifically about your unique personality so I highly recommend you wear something that shows off your personality and style. I can offer suggestions and how you can express your style and if that means wearing a motorcycle jacket instead of lingerie then go for it! My sessions are not cookie cutter boudoir sessions and you’ll find out that creating outfits that show off your beauty is actually going to be a really fun and important process of the whole experience. There are a BUNCH of outfit ideas other than lacy little things!

Do you Photoshop my images?

I do edit your images for light, exposure, and color balance only. I will also edit anything out that’s normally not supposed to be there, a blemish, a bruise etc. Part of the process of accepting yourself and seeing your beauty also means not photoshopping out parts of yourself you don’t like. If there are parts of yourself that are learning to love and aren’t thrilled about, that’s ok. But remember, I am a highly skilled at posing and lighting and I will put you in flattering positions to make you look your absolute best! I will never put you in an unflattering position I promise!

What type of print products do you have?

I offer a variety of albums and portfolio boxes with prints in them. The portfolio box with the 8×10 matted prints are such a classy way to display your prints. I absolutely love the feel of picking up a physical print and I tell every woman that they should get their beautiful images off their computer and framed so you can gawk at your own beauty every time you pass it. My other favorite product is my Lux album. It’s the perfect way to show off your most favorite images from your shoot in a sleek and discreet album.

“I flip through my album every chance I get. I think I look at it more than my husband does. It’s a daily reminder that my self-image has completely changed after having my boudoir shoot.” –Amy, on her Boudoir album she purchased.

I’m freaking out! How can I stop being so nervous?

Don’t worry, this is a normal feeling EVERY woman has before their shoot. Nerves are all part of the experience! I always say that it would probably be weird if you WEREN’T nervous. After all we’re not models who do this for a living! We are every day women who don’t go on photo shoots often, if not, never! The nervousness in the beginning of your shoot make your moment of “WOW” seeing your photos for the first so much better. Most everyone becomes way less nervous once hair and makeup are done because they can see that they are camera ready and they are ready to get going!

How many outfits should I bring?

In a typical Boudoir session we can go through 3-4 outfits. I always say to bring more if you can’t decide and I will help you decide at your shoot. We will pull everything out and decide the order of what you are going to wear. It’s better to have more outfits available because If something isn’t working we simply move on to the next outfit!

You should always plan on getting to your shoot about 10 minutes early so we don’t have to rush and make you even more nervous. I want this to be a special, pampering time that is just for you so take advantage of the time you are in the studio! It will be all about YOU!
